On Wednesday 19th September, our Year 5 Hockey Team played in the WBOP 7s Hockey Championship, after a successful South Cluster competition earlier in the term.

The team were the only 'girls only' team there, and they should be so proud of their efforts. They played with so much heart and never gave up. This lead them to finishing in 4th place.

The team consisted of Olivia Brown, Maddison Presley, Alexis Moor, Amber Trusler, Grace Camplin, Mari Stevens, Angela Strang, Lauren Beekie, Bella Coulter and Aylah King.

South Cluster 7s Tournament

The annual South Cluster 7s Tournament took place last week on Tuesday. TPS entered 9 sports teams in soccer, rugby, hockey, netball and basketball. This meant we had 90 children participating!! Some kids representing TPS for the first time. The day was fantastic. Friendly competition between our local schools provided the opportunity for our kids to shine. They all maintained a positive attitude throughout the day, showing great sportsmanship and determination to always give 100%.

Big congratulations to those teams that placed:

All of our netball teams were lucky enough to participate in the celebrations. Our year 6 netball team, TPS Magic, actually took part in the parade and had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the Magic players. And our other netball teams walked to town and watched the parade. You probably heard us??!! The moment was priceless as our budding netballers were in complete awe of their idols. Check out some great photos below......
